I am an assistant teacher for Head Start. Every year I choose one child to do for at Christmas. This year I chose a little girl who has three sisters, one older and two younger, all are under 6 years old. My sister helped me purchase for the girls coats, pajamas, shoes, and underwear. Even though I don't have much, I see this as paying it forward and the fact that I love all my children at school. When I was a single parent back in the 70's with two small children, there was one Christmas that I had absolutely no money to get anything for them. Some people that I worked with got together and a few days later here came Santa Claus walking up my sidewalk with a sack full of toys, books, and goodies. What a Christmas for my kids! So this is just a small way that I can give back. So to everyone reading this, you may not have alot but there are always those who have less. My reward is seeing the smiles on my childrens faces at school. God Bless Ms. Jo

I wanted to do something different this Christmas. So I call Slavation Army and ask if I could be a bell ringer for them. I also ask if I could sing Christmas carols as I rang the bell. They said yes so I went to the mall where they had a big kettle and a angle tree. My daughter Cheyenne and I rang the bell and sang Christmas carols for 4 hours. We had a wonderful time giving out candy canes and letting children ring the bell with us. There was some teenagers there that also helped us. My daughter decided to get a gift for the angle tree for a child in need. It was one of the best times I have ever had and I meet a lot of people that was caring and giving.
I thank God for allowing me to go and I plan on doing it again. If you are reading this I challenge you to go out this year and volunteer somewhere and pay it forward and help someone in need and tell somone else to share some kindness and do it all year long.
May God bless you and have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

God Bless you for giving your time
