It was a Sunday morning and my husband and I went to Tim Hortons to grab a "quick" cup of coffee and a donut. We decided to go through the drive-thru to help us expediate the process (cause we stayed in our pajama's). When we arrived the line was crazy long but decided to stay. As we came around the builing there was a another line of cars feeding into the same drive-thru lane and we thought we would leave when a young guy (in the feeding lane) in a beat up car motioned us to go ahead of him. I was so taken back by his act of kindness I returned the favor. When we arrived at the window we paid for his order. I am sure he was surprised :)

Once, many years ago, I was at a resterant and this elderly man kept smiling at me and my siblings, so I smiled back. When we went to go pay, the waiter told us someone already paid for us. We all suprised, and the waiter told us the man paid for us. My mom thanked him and gave his money. He said" You have a nice family so I paid for you." He was very nice.

It was raining hard outside today, I was mailing letters inside the Post Office. A man rushed in, frustrated to find that the sales counters had just closed for
the day. I saw the frustration when he was told he'd have to drive across town
to buy stamps & mail his letters. I said "Sir, this is your lucky day, I have the
stamps you need, take them, and then do a favor for someone else in return."
He smiled and said " Thank you, and yes, I'll do that!"
A great experience for both of us!

my random act of kindness was i went to stay at my grandmas house and the neighbor above here needed help coming down. it was really cold and she was shaking alot so i decided to go up and help her bring the box down. it was heavy. but i managed to carry it. she was so thankful she wanted to pay me! i turned it down and i said "thank you but no thank you :)" she stared at me for a little in suprise and patted me on the back and said "thank you" that made me feel very warm inside.
