It's so random and unplanned. I was memorizing scripture from Luke 2:8-16 about when the angels visited the shepherds. When I thought I had it down pretty good and my husband came back to the car from running an errand, I began quoting it to him. Well the power in the words settled upon the car and we both felt the Spirit of the Lord which is the Spirit of Christmas "For unto you is born this day in the City of David, a Savior which is Christ the Lord."

Many times I am on the receiving end of others' generosity and help. Today my husband and I put 100.00 in an envelope and called up a couple with two small boys asking them to meet us in town. Turns out our gift was so needed as they were driving on a donut tire because they didn't have the money for a tire. Praise God! Now they can go replace their tire plus buy a gift for their kids.

I took some of my birthday money and bought gifts for kids that are in the hospital with cancer who might not get gifts because there families do not have alot of money.

This makes me feel overjoyed because even though they are so sick I could put a smile on there face for a few minutes and show ther family there still are lids out there that care about others and not just themself.

I donated toys to the Willy-Pera Toy Drive. I made 2 kids very happy

I was going home from school and a person was lying on the street. He said he was thirsty and needed something to drink. I rushed home and got him water.

I rolled down my passenger window and called out "Hoe much time do you need" before they went to the ticket dispenser. They said 20 mins, I said here mine its about 40 mins and Merry Christmas! They said oh my goodness! Aren't you a nice lady thank you! Sure majes you feel good , they waved and big smiles and thank yous as I drove away!

I have been the Community's Mrs. Claus for nearly 30 years now. When children come to see Santa & I, they ask for special things that their folks don't know about or seem unimportant. i.e. Please bring me some polar bear hair. I would love to have a girl reindeer. My small stuffed bird (decoration) has lost its wing, can you bring a new wing? There are many times when Mrs. Claus can make these specila deliveries. I always include a card or note from Santa in an envelope "postmarked" North Pole w/ the zip code of 00001. They never know it didn't come directly from Santa. I have been caught, by a parent, a time or two or found out later. The stories of delight experienced by the child is well worth any extra effort made!!!!!

In the grocery store a migrant worker ahead of me did not have enough money to pay for his groceries and was deciding what to put back. I gave the cashier the monies needed and told her to give the change to him.

I drove by an old woman on the street corner asking for help with her rent. She had her grandson with her and I felt compelled to stop. I gave her $20 and she broke down in tears of thanks and hugged me tightly. In that hug I felt the love of God. We talked for awhile and I found out that she was in jeopardy of being evicted from her apartment because she was disabled and behind in her rent.

I found out where she lived and, after leaving her, went to the manager's office and paid $500 towards her rent. I'm not rich. In fact, I'm unemployed, but something in that hug told me that $20 was not enough for this grandmother trying to raise two small boys on her own.

The Spirit moved me that day and I am so blessed that He gave me that grandmother with which to share what I have.

I've told no one of this until now. Maybe others reading this will follow their hearts and overcome their heads when they see others in need.

Merry Christmas to all. May the light that is Christ be in your hearts the wole year through.
