I got a nice poinsetta plant for a lady who runs a shelter. The kids had told me when they go voluteer to help her, she is rather cranky and mean. A Christmas visit with the same kids to give a Christmas cheer along with the plant and a box of chocolate covered cherries hopefully will go a long way.

My daughter has a wonderful boyfriend. His family is really struggling and they have been worried how to give their 6 yr old son a x-mas. It broke my heart so we went out and bought clothes, games, toys etc to be sure he would have x-mas. I also received a $100 gift certificate from my employer for a local market so I had it transferred over in their names. We have had a tough year and this made it all worth it. Merry Christmas!
