Random Acts Of Kindness

We have 2793 Random Acts Of Kindness So Far!

All of us at XmasFun.com would like to ask a favor of our users. We would like each of you to do one or more Random Acts of Kindness this holiday season. After you've done your Random Act, we'd like you to come back here and share your experience with us! It can be a small act, like smiling at your grumpy neighbor or paying the toll for the next car behind you at the toll booth...or perhaps something bigger! We don't care, we just want to hear your stories and share them with our site users. And please don't be timid about sharing the smallest of kind acts...it's the little changes that make the world a better place!

My random act of kindness was helping the teachers with calming down their students in a fire drill when I was passing by. She was a substitute and had a hard time calming down her students so I decided to help her out without anything in return.

The women from our church worked for three days to set up a multi-family garage sale in our church parking lot. There was about 6 of them that worked very hard for the whole congregation to sell off their cast offs. They were not very happy about the results and they very sad. I had been there just the one day and brought some jewelry to sell that I had made. It didn't sell, so I let each of them pick their favorite piece from my bag and you should have seen their faces light up. It almost made me want to give it all away.

My random act of kindness consisted of picking a random name from the phone book once a month and sending that person $10 cash. Not much, but I know I would have been escatic to receive that in the mail.

Taking time out of my volunteer tutoring sessions to enjoy playing games with and just being a good listener for my adult student. She makes my life better, and I earnestly pray that I continue to bless her life in any way I can all year long.

I wholeheartedly agree. This website reminded me this is the best time of year to remember that love and peace are the elements of life that make the world go round.

Thank you, Beckie, and bless you today and every day.

Each Christmas I set up the Nativity Collection at my church for our Church family to enjoy during the holidays. We have over 300 Nativities in our collection. It took me 16 hours to display all of the beautiful Nativites. We have over 21 countries that are represented in our collection. It warms my heart each and every year.
