I was at a bagel place, and my brother and me were saving a table for my family. My brother is obsessed with football and really wanted to watch the game on the TV. So I switched seats with him so he could get a clear view of it.

My sister and I both had doctor appointments on the same day. It was Friday and it was a school day. My grade went on a field trip that day and since I missed the bus I got to stay home while Mimsy went to school. I went to the grocery that same day with Grandma and I saw two stuffed animals fairly priced. I convinced Grandma to get them for us and I wanted the reindeer as opposed to the Santa, since I had 3 Santas already. But when Mimsy came home from high school that day she felt bad after having a bad say, so I let her have the reindeer, the one she wanted and I got the Santa. I may have wanted the reindeer, but I wanted even more for Mimsy to be cheered up. It felt good to do something nice like that!

It has been about 18 years ago when I was in line at a grocery store during the holiday season. There was an elderly person in the line in front of me and she did not have enough money to pay for her groceries. My daughter was with me and she looked at me and said mama...I told the cashier to tell the lady her groceries where already paid for. The elderly lady at first did not understand as she was looking for money in her purse. Then she looked at me and said God Bless You. I smiled and said thank you and I hope you have a Merry Christmas. She hug me and began to cry and so did I.
