My husband and I loaned money to a young couple with 2 small children. The father had just been laid off work, so we wanted them to know there are still nice people out in this world.

It was Christmas season and the postage rates dad been raised a penny. I stood in line at the Post Office and during my 20 minute wait, noticed that most of the customers were buying one cent stamps. Ask I approached the clerk, I asked how many stamps were on a sheet. When she replied 100, I told her I would take two sheets. I removed 20 stamps and inquired to the still long line as to how many people were in line for penny stamps. All most all raised their hands. I handed the last person in line the remaining stamps and said; "Take what you need and pass the rest forward. Merry Christmas".
