On 15th December 2012 my friends teenage daughter helped an elderly stranger who'd fallen in the street. She helped him up and escorted him to his home and held his hand until an ambulance arrived. Well done Charlotte

For over 30 years, every year at Christmas I bake Christmas Cookies, to start with it was just for family, then added friends, then co workers, then about 15 years ago I baked extra for a local homeless shelter, which became shelters and crisis centers, and nurserys. This year after I am done, and having to rent meat locker at Crown Foods, Thanks for the discount! I will have baked 23 different cookies and candies, over 3000 total. Using a small amount of ingredients, 50 pounds of flour, 40 pounds of butter, 40 pounds of sugar, 25 pounds of powder sugar, 15 pounds of chocolate, and who knows how much coconut, walnuts,pecans, peanuts, peanut butter, and jelly. Most of them will be donanted to those who have no other chance of enjoying a home made Christmas Cookie. I do this in honor of my Great Grandmother Cora Peterson who said Christmas is not Christmas without Christmas Cookies, and told me stories of having to save the rations of sugar over the year to make them.

that is really great to do such a sweet thing...I love homemade treats soo much better than any other gift of monitary value...thank you for putting a smile on someone's face with a cookie....

When I go shopping and the store has candy at the check-out, I buy a small piece of candy and hand it to the cashier. Then I say - I hope this makes your day a little sweeter. I usually get big smiles. It is not a lot of money, but it makes a big difference! Don't take my word for it -- try it yourself!!

Yesterday at the Tacoma Mall I saw a black purse sitting by a table in the food court. As I was going to take it to the security office, I saw a lady frantically looking for something at the same table I found the purse. When I took it over to her, she gave me the biggest hug in the world. Literally, I don't think I've been hugged that hard in my life. That was the best gift all year. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to everyone.

i love to help the homeless 2 i hate how they r all alone i said when i become presdent i will help all the homeless give them food and give them homes.But u know some homeless people just wont love not money but love and homes marry early xmas and a happy new year.

My random act of kindness was to let people know they are a
piece of God's picture; one of a kind necessary for His plan.
When someone wishes me a happy holiday I respond with Merry
Christmas. I want to remind people as to why we celebrate
Christmas. It is celebrating the Lord's birth.
I try never to walk by those who stand outside of the grocery stores for the Salvation Army without stopping to give money.

Today is the day that 2 years ago we lost me lil' baby cousin who was 4yrs old so to help my family to be calm I decided to plan a sunday morning breakfast after church. Today I was able to share why we have Christmas to someone that thought it was all about Santa and gifts. This person never realized that Jesus Christ was born this time of year for a reason and that God loved him so much He was going to have His only Son Jesus die for his sins on a cross.. and that would be his only hope for Heaven. I shared with him the only thing that would keep him out of Heaven was his unbelief. He was a bit taken back. And than I closed by saying the blueprint for your life is all written in God's word, the Bible and to read the book of John and let a Holy God reveal to him why he is here and to know where he is going when he dies.
