wrote 10 anonymous letters to 10 different institutions housing those less fortunate than us. The letters are a message they are not alone and someone is thinking of them. For each institution, I asked and addressed to please post or copy the people on the floor or unit.

I haven't the money so as a writer I used my profession to do the best I could.

May all of you on this fantastic site have a safe and happy holiday also.

I will be spreading your link in forums and my profile page.

I am kimberlyslyrics at hubpages.com

bless

Found out our local animal shelter for the battered women's and children's shelter was in dire need of many items, including blankets and food. Set up two boxes and work and collected over 75 blankets (so far), food, toys, leashes, brushes and much more. We had enough to bring donations to all three shelters and are collecting through January. Plus, got a lot of monetary donations as well to give them. Even our furry friends are in need the holidays and every day!

I love animals, and feel bad for them when they are in shelters. There isn't a shelter near me, or I would do the same! You are so sweet!

This is not about me... I lost my 1st husband to cancer.. he was 17, since then his mother who I now call nanna has taken toys to the childern's hosp the week before Christmas for the past 5 years. This year our friends and family found out about this told every one to bring her a toy. Yesturday as of Dec 21,2011 we took 572 toys to the cancer unit at the Childerns Cancer unit in Augusta Georgia. And next year is going to be even better!

God bless you and your elves. As a cancer survivor, I can tell you your gifts will go much farther than you planned. When someone shows such unselfish kindness, it is humbling, but it gives one faith in humanity. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I have a friend going through a really hard financial time right now. She didn't think she would be able to have presents for her kids under the tree. I filled a mason jar with all my quarters (over $200) and put a few other little things in a gift bag. I left it on their doorstep in the middle of the night.
