A lady was struggling with pushing her grocery buggy out the door I ask her to let me help her. She had bought 10 cases of Pepsi and I loaded them for her she only had use of one arm and was explaining to me that she bought the drinks foe another family less fortunate. I felt good about helping her so paying it forward is always good.

Today I saw a young couple standing outside our small country store who were in need of something to eat (per the small sign they were holding). I gave them $5.00 and wished them a "Happy Holidays". I then went into the store to buy some butter for my holiday cookies and saw them enter the store immediately behind me and go to the deli counter to see their food choices. Being well aware of the food prices where I live, I knew that the $5.00 wasn't going to get them a nice meal for two people. Since I could see that they were truly looking for something to eat (immediately) and not just asking for money from strangers as we see many people doing throughout the U.S. - I decided to buy them both a sandwich so they could have a filling meal that would curb their hunger. I hope that some day they will repay the same kindness to someone else...

Brian and I stopped at a gas station to bring some drinks back to the hotel we were staying at in TN. As brian opened the driver door he said a woman asked him to help change her tire then said nevermind because he looked as if he worked all day, which he did. We pulled over by her vehicle and seen she had a child in the car as well and brian happily changed her tire. Later on, a AAA man pulled up and told brian he was shocked at the fact someone actually offered to help her. she offered us money but we gladly refused. I'm happy that we were there to help with such a simple task. Hopefully, there are many more people in the world like this. It's just the simple acts of kindness that help people alot more then you would think.

One night my Dad and I were running out to Home Depot to get some Christmas light for our tree. As we were driving, we saw a homeless man huddled on the side of the road with no gloves, scarf, or hat, also with a sign that said, " NEED FOOD. ANYTHING WILL HELP. GOD BLESS. THX." My Dad immediately pulled over to Burger King and bought him a cheeseburger and a hot coffee. We drove back to go give it to him, but he had left. My Dad searched the parking lot, but he couldn't find him anywhere. I will never forget that man! Always think about how he/she feels with no family, warmth, house, or food and try to help out anyway you can, and you will always be a humble, spectacular person.

One day I was with my Dad and he had just gotten his paycheck. He took the most he could out of it, $50.00, and whispered in my ear: "Go put this in the Salvation Army bin ."I gave the money and the bell ringer was so happy! It was very rewarding. :)
