I would always love to do a random act of kindness like when I always see homeless people on the street or the same with cats and dogs. But what I do is that I give clothes to my local Salvation Army store and also, me and my school are doing a toydrive AND helping the Houston Food Bank!I love helping people because your not only doing it to be on the nice list for Santa, your doing it because your helping the people who need yo and caring for them so they can have a merry, merry Christmas. Merry Christmas and God bless!:)

In a grammer school in Brick,N.J.every year they have a Christmas sale for the little ones to buy gifts for whoever. Some of them come in with no money and they cry. So I put singals in a envolope and the teacher calls it the Nanny fund and who ever does not have money she gives them a doller or two.It makes the little ones very happy and it makes me happy too.I also give to the school toys and clothes to the families that don't have much.

I know how it feels to not have enough money or worried about what you might have for Christmas. For people who don't get much for Christmas, something as little as a worn down jacket, can mean the world to a kid. :)

wonderful Bernice... I know it makes you feel as good as the person receiving it.

This is my daughters ranom act of kindness a few years ago my teenage daughters were shopping at Christmas time in the Mall, I sat and waited for them. When they finally got to me they said that one of the cashiers at Sears was an older lady and she what slow and got flustered and of course the people in line were angry and mean to the lady. So after she rang up the girls purchases they put all their money together and bought the lady a pretty candle. When they gave it to her she was almost in tears from all the mean customers and she looked at the candle and told the girls that it wasn't something from Sears. The both said together we know we bought it for you. Merry Christmas. For teenagers to think of a stranger and give her something like that is truly an act of random kindness.

A Coworker is struggling with a very serious illness and she refuse to accept any help as that shows weakness. So I helped organize several people and together we ordered a gift basket from a local store and placed a gift card in it for $150 then had them deliver it so she would not know where it came from. We are praying for a complete recovery for her.

While at a gas station, a man comes up and asks for 75 cents. I dug to the bottom of my purse and found a dollar and some change, during the wait, the man thought that I was going to drive off, instead I started my car to get it heated, later walked the change over to the man. I smiled, he smiled and we both went our seperate ways. It felt great to help someone with so little.

when i see a soldier home from the military in a resturant in a grocery store or in our church I will hand him or her a 20 dollar bill and thank them for their service. It is a wonderful feeling seeing the smile on their face knowing someone cares even giving a small amount for their service. Thanks everyone serving and be safe and come home soon.

My brother-in-law is serving! He absolutely loves the military and this country, my family and I are so proud of him. Even the littlest thing like a smile or a salute makes him proud to serve. You are so very awesome! :)

My husband it an Active Duty Marine of 24 years and has been deployed 5 out of the 7 years we have been married. He has lost some pride in what he does, thinking that it isnt really making much of a difference. He feels people take for granted what sacrifices the military make. With you Florence I am sure that active duty person that you give your gift too thinks twice that he/she is really making a difference and is so thankful that you appreciate them. I know my husband would...

One time I was driving back from Missouri where my family lives, and as I rounded the top of a hill in Nebraska, about 6 miles outside of Valentine, I saw a young woman standing beside of an old pick up truck with the hood up and a pair of cowboy boots sticking out from underneath.
I asked if they needed help and they replied no they had it. I waited to see if they were going to make it back into town. In my mind I thought she was pregnant, however she did not appear to be.
They started out and went a few yards then pulled over again only to do it again and that was it. I offered and gave them a ride into town. They were down to their last money. I had the old bag style of cell phone and had them to call home. As they lived in the middle of Wyoming somewhere it would take all night for any family member to be able to rescue them.
I took them to the grocery store and bought them food as they hadn't eaten. Then I offered to take them to a church to ask if they could help. Neither of us had ever done anything like that before so we felt weird. I told them I wouldn't be paid for another month, but I had sixty- two dollars left to my name. We went to a small roadside motel in Valentine and it would cost 63 dollars for them to stay. We dug to the bottom of my ashtray where I kept change and came up with enough for them to stay the night.
The girl began crying because she had gone away to college and was returning home at Semester pregnant and would not be able to finish college.
I was only faced with a month without any money, or groceries at home. I told her that everything would work out and for her not to worry that the baby would be a blessing she hadn't planned on. I said but he looks like a nice young man. She said her mother had sent him he was her step-dad. I prayed for the girl all the way home.
When I got to my apartment I found mail pushed underneath my door. I opened what I thought was a bill, and found a check for 63 dollars from a postal money order that had been lost in the mail sometime ago. I would now be able to eat something the rest of the month. I felt certain that after the baby came and they each held him or her they would find an unexpected miracle as well.
