My neighbors are elderly and I've noticed they've been having some trouble getting around, so one day when I saw them outside trying to walk their dog, I offered to take the dog for a walk every day for them since I could tell they were having difficulties. They said yes, thank you, and they wanted to pay me for it but I said no, that this would be fun because I love dogs and a good thing to do anyway.

I made my mom dinner so that she wasn't hungry after comming back from work today. I think she liked it, because she was looking for more...but there was no more food for her at that moment :P
And I did the cleaning, too :)
Is that enough to be called a good daughter? :P

That's a really nice thing to do! I know my parents can be really tired after getting back from work, and hungry too. Sometimes I clean up the house (I'm terrible at cooking) so they won't have to.

My wife and I have been down alittle after loosing a daughter and everything else dur to the economy. We have made well on a great rebound. While shoping in a local grocery store I noticed a man with 6 childern looking over some turkey feet and ham hocks. The man asked the oldest girl if she thought all of them could make a meal of this and she said yes daddy I don't have to eat much as long as you and the little ones can eat. I couldn't stand it so I walked to the family and asked if I could help? The father looked and said we don't hav but enough to get this, I asked if we could buy a nice ham and what ever else they needed. He answered yes sir, I will repay you, I told them no need, we are Americans and we should help each other if we can. While at the check out the cashier looked at me funny but never questioned anything, so I paid for the groceries and all of the childern hugged me.The store manager asked my name and I told her no need, she said I want you to be recognized and will contact the news media. I told her no thanks and we paid for ours and left.
