12/22/2010 10:09:45 PM - This is about my son Joel - escondido/calif/usa

well I know if we have an agenda for ourselfs the acts are only acting so I will not speak of mine but I will my sons, One day we were driving on a hot day in the middle of summer when we seen a homeless man with no shoes on the hot side walk. Joel said mom please pull over and so I did he took his new shoes and socks and gave them to the man. The man cried and sat on the curb and put them on straight away. The feeling that came from that was so beautiful and what I witnessed was a true and loving gift to not only the man in need of shoes but all of us. much love to all and have a blessed Christmas

I am a CCD teacher at our Saint Jude Parish for the Pre-Confirmation Class. For the last two year, and again this year (2010), my students and I share the spirit of Christmas by having a Christmas caroling at our local hospital. On the Sunday before Christmas day, right after our 8am mass, we visit the patients at the hospital and sing to them Christmas songs to cheer them up and to let them know through our songs to keep having HOPE and FAITH in our Loving Lord Jesus. As my students were singing, I looked over this room where a very old lady, maybe around her 70s, was laying in bed smiling watching us sing. Sitting next to her was daughter holding her hand and crying. As I watched the old lady smile, I felt the Joy that Jesus is still alive in heart; a sign of HOPE was in her smile. We also brought gifts donated by one of our local store to the young patients to cheer them up too, knowing that they were going to miss Christmas at home with families and openning presents on Christmas Day. One Chinese boy (maybe 4yrs old) with IV in his arm was strong enough to also put up a smile for us. Christmas is about touching peoples lives and sharing God's Love in Jesus Christ, especially when they are sick, alone and lonely, and feeling lost. I like to call this "Random Acts of Kind Love." Thank you my dear students for your RAoKL. Thank you also Joeten Ent. for the gift donation. God Bless and Happy Holidays from the CNMI. Ray

I enjoy being happy-go-lucky on a daily basis and I can make the grumpiest person SMILE like nobody's business!

Now if everyone was like you the world would be a much brighter place... its not always easy to keep a smile going with grumps, some people have no clue how selfish it is to be so self involved. It really takes and loving and mature soul who tries to keep the balance.. thank you

I'm sitting here with my 3 1/2 yr. old grandaughter singing her favorite Christmas songs with her. I have been so blessed, she has lived with me since the day she was born and I adore her. My random act of love I guess is my unwavering love and devotion to her. I can read the lyrics from this site to her. This is a good aid in teaching her who the baby Jesus is and about His birthday.
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.
Merry Christmas Everyone.
Thank you for this wonderful, very fun web site.

I work with students in an old people homes, many left and abandoned by their families or have no families at all.

On our last day of duty before Christmas break our group of students prepared a wonderful Christmas party for them complete with decorations and singing of Christmas Carols and a sumptous lunch. We saw how they have enjoyed everything. From singing the carols with gusto to eating the food we have prepared. Our hearts are full of happiness as we spread happiness with the old folks....Jesus is lifted up in our midst.
