I pick up the newspapers for people on my route to work. I also just smile and treat my customers at work. A smile makes everyones day brighter. I practice the "Golden Rule". Do to others as you would want others to treat you. It does a heart good.

As a small boy I was frequently sick at the holidays..It was hard not to get to open gifts...Flash forward thirty years...I now throughout the year buy toys and gifts and set them aside with out any one knowing and I take them to a childrens hospital and give them away anonymusly to kids who find themselves in the same boat as I was years ago..

I helped my friend Makalaya get up when she fell down and was bleeding a lot. I helped my Grandma Terry with mailing her Christmas cards. I helped my baby sister play a game.
I helped a friend with a recipe that was very important.

Yeah, those are nice, but that's part of being a human being. If I didn't do that sort of thing on a daily basis, my mom would whoop me! I'm 12 and know to do that sort of stuff. Not too mention chores no one asked you to do, giving people that I know from church hugs and birthday cards, etc.

Every year my church and another in town collaboratively put on the "Christmas Store". Needy families in town are invited to come "shop" for toys for each child; they also get books, hand knit hats, scarfs, and gloves; all the ingredients for a turkey dinner (plus extra groceries); a toiletry kit containing soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes for everyone, combs, washrags, hand sanitizers, bandaids, shampoo, among other things. We even provide them with wrapping paper for the toys. Babysitting service is provided so they can "shop" without the kids. I'm in charge of the toiletry kits. Although a lot is donated by church members, I end up buying a lot of the stuff myself. I've spent the last 2 weeks putting together 68 kits (the number of families we're providing for this year). Over the years (34) we've helped over 6000 children get toys on Christmas! I'm very proud of our Christmas Store volunteers!

I'm done with one,it's about a boy who's parents got in acrash w/ him in the car so the family is in the hospital when Andy goes blind then what he already can't walk.

I love helping everybody and I want the world to be a better place. So every summer, spring, winter, fall my dad and my friend go around the neiborhood and pick up trash and I rescue animals. I don't waste anything a specialy paper because it comes from trees and if we want to live we need trees. I make blankets for the homeless and people in the hospital.
