Every Christmas Eve, I go to my aunt's house for a Christmas party with my dad's side of the family. Every year I have gone, since I was 4, I have always recived presents and never gave back. My cousin, Lauren, means the world tome so I thought it would be nice to give her something to show her how much I love her and how much she means to me. When I was 11, I gave her a snowglobe with a picture of us in it of when we were little. When I was 12, I gave her a scrapbook filled with pictures of herself and I. I am now 13 and have been taking guitar lessons. This year I'm going to serenate her with a song. I feel as if giving is so much better than recieving because you can make someone else and yourself feel good. I love Christmas because it is the time of year when you can appreciate everything and everyone in your life. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Me and my family were on my way to holiday in our motorhome and we saw a woman fall i couldn't just leave her there so i got out of the car and put her in the back and we took her to the hosptital because she had a realy nasty cut across her forehead. She became a close friend but unfortunately she died 6 months after. She was 84.

Whenever I think of this story always makes it feel like christmas for me.

A friend of mine was looking out her window one snowy day in mid december and she saw this little girl skipping down the street, happy to be out of school for christmas. As the girl passed my friends yard she stopped, she stood directly in front of the nativity scene, that my friend always puts out for christmas. It was cold and the girl had only a small, pink, scarf covering her head. The girl unwrapped the scarf carefully and bundled the naked baby Jesus, where he lay in the manger. Satisfied that he was warm she continued down the street letting the snowflakes fall onto her curly blond hair.

last christmas me and my best friend made around 200 cupcakes and decoratede them very christmassy and half of them we delivered to a orphanage with kids of all ages, and we even got to give them to the children ourselves. the other half we delivered to a institute for the abnormal and a platefull to our grandma. ill never forget the childrens faces when we gave them a cupcake. this year i hope to do the same thing, except for other needy people and kids. doing something kind makes you feel really great inside! every one in this world should be more kind, then maybe the world would be almost perfect!!! :)

I am just a 4th grader, and I have been signing up for as many things as I can that includes helping younger children. I really like working with little kids, especially a first grader called Parker. we went on a field trip today, and he was in my group. He wasn't as much of a handful as everyone else says he is. Currently, I am signed up for my classroom's SERT(Student Emergency Response Team) training. If there is ever a natural disaster, I hope to be able to help. next year I want to be a student coach to help the younger kids learn.

I did not do this act of kindness. It was done for me.
I was going to a meeting alone in my car. A car ahead of me pulled into the parking lot and passed a wonderful parking space right near the building. As I got out of my car, I noticed him, shambling along, and I went to him and thanked him for passing up the perfect space for a total stranger. I later learned that he has a very debilitating handicap and cannot walk very fall without pain. Thank you for lettin me share this story. He has since become a close friend of mine and he truly lives a live of kindness to others.
