I'm a receptionist at a real estate company and one day a girl called and asked if she could get her three kids on our Angel Tree. She is now a single mother, working two jobs and going to school and had nothing to give her kids for Christmas. This year we didn't have one so I got her name and number, children's ages and sizes and I convinced the agents i work with to donate gifts, money and gift cards and my husband did the same at his job and we gave that family a Christmas they won't forget. It was so great to see her face when we opened the trunks of the cars and gave her all of the stuff we collected. I told her to pay it forward and we'd be even. She was so great and so thankful that she cried. It was a good, good feeling to give for no reason other than just helping some one.

Thanks for blessing someone who really needed to be blessed, but wasn't the joy you got back better than anything you could have ever imagined? :) (I was born in Pittsburgh long time ago, so I'm happy to see that kind of love in "your neck of the woods!") Thanks Carolyn, I'm glad you read my story. We got a thank you card from her today and she said she had a great Christmas dinner because of some of our Giant Eagle gift cards. Her boys were thrilled to have a Christmas this year and she is very grateful for our help. I'd love to do this again next year. and Yes, it was great to give!

i wish that in dallas more people would be nice to others. it`s kind of of boring with nobody to help.if you do ask,"miss my help yau".they would probably say,"got outta the way." but i try any way. (yau means you).

i think that Christmas should be for everyone and for poor people and the people who has money should give or donate gifts for the homeless and the poor because I would do that because I love everyone no matter if they are poor or homeless i just think that people should shows their kindness like that that's how my act of kindness would be and should be around the world!!!
