Font Installation Help The following instructions apply to Windows machines: The fonts here at xmasfun.com were gathered from various sources on the Internet. They are presented here packaged as found. The download files are in Zip format. Files in Zip format typically contain several individual files packaged together in one Zip file. The Zipped font files here at Xmasfun typically contain the actuall font file (.TTF) and some form of license information provided by the font's author (typically a text file). You will need an unzip utility such as WinZip to extract the fonts from the downloaded files. To download the files, click on the links provided on the Fonts Page. Select "Save To Disk" from the resulting dialog box. Follow the prompts to save the fonts .ZIP file to your local hard disk (remember where you save it because you'll need to find it to open it up with WinZip). Use your Unzip utility (ie. WinZip) to open the downloaded .ZIP file. To install the fonts, extract the .TTF file from the Zip archive (if you open the .ZIP file with WinZip, you can just grab the .TTF file and drop it on you Windows desktop). Next, open the Font window from the Windows Control Panel (click the "Start" button, select "Settings", select "Control Panel", double click on the "Fonts" icon). To install the font, you can simply drag it from your Windows desktop and drop it into the Fonts window (you can also select "File", "Install New Fonts" from the Font window). Most of the .ZIP files also contain a "ReadMe.TXT" file that contains information about the author of the font, and licensing information. The Xmasfun web site is designed to use "Comic Sans" as its primary font. If you do not have it, you can get download it from Microsoft's typography page.
