I just think that, ecpecially these days, people need to be nicer to other people. I give WHEN I can. No matter what happpens though, A SMILE ON YOUR FACE PUTS A SMILE ON SOMBODY ELSES FACE

Thanksgiving 2010....We shared a plate of food with a neighbor of my daughter...A "grumpy old man"...he gruffly said Thank-you...and was very surprised..We laughed because we lost my "grumpy" father in 2009...He reminded us of him..
We all felt good and enjoyed our day!

Tha cashier was tired and the lady behind me was loudly complaining about the length of her wait in line. There was a problem with my order but as the cashier apologised to me, I smiled and shared some words of encouragement. I could tell that she appreciated it and it was a good reminder to me to show some extra patience as I did more Christmas shopping.

Recently, in recognition of National Education Week, I helped my Beta Club students to show their appreciation to their teachers by giving each teacher the book, "Chicken Soup for the Teacher's Soul." The little acts of kindness do amke a difference. Thank you for this wonderful website.
