met a homeless woman on the street near my apartment house and took her to a hamburger place and bought her two hamburgers and a cup of coffee, and gave her the name of some people who get her shelter. She went her way very happy.

Today I passed a homeless man on the way to buy flowers for a coworker. He asked for money and I told him I only had my credit card. When I went in to the store I felt like I should do something kind. I bought him 2 sandwiches, 4 protein bars and a large bottle of water. On my way back to work I stopped and gave it to him with a simple "Merry Christmas" and a smile. :)
