My wife and I gave cash to a Church organization which will use the pooled funds to provide 7 needy families with a memorable Christmas. These families would not have anything for their children and not even a festive Christmas dinner that we are used to having. Gifts of toys, food, clothing and other neccessities will be given to each family. We gave enough to provide 1 family 1/2 of their Christmas surprise. This helps make the magic of Christmas so special for us. I have helped deliver this surprise to unexpecting families in the past. There can be no greater feeling than to see a single mom or even a married couple with children and nothing to give them on Christmas except for their love. Many tears of joy were shared at those homes. One can only imagine their feeling when suddenly Christmas arrives at their door. We should all take the time to remember the less fortunate. Give till it hurts a little. The rewards are far greater than any pain. God is good. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

Wish everyone's heart was as big as yours. The world would be a much better place to live in. God is so good! He blesses those who bless others. You must be one of his angels.

Sometimes when I’m in the drive up at Mc D’s especially in the morning I will pay for the person’s coffee behind me and tell the employee to tell them if one day they will do the same for someone else.

If I am standing in line at the grocery store or other shopping center, I always glance at the person behind me in line and if the have fewer items than I do, or if they have a child that is getting a little "fussy" I ask them if they'd like to check out before me. It has really made someone's day, especially the elderly and the moms who always seem to be in a rush, with a crying baby in their cart. And it makes me feel good to do that for them.

I wished all of my friends good luck today on their finals. They still didn't do really amazing but they said they would've done worse without the encouragement. It made me feel awesome :)

I like to make wreaths. So at my apt complex I made a few wreaths, and put them around the grounds for with a note for people to discover and take home. They all got picked up.

I think that each and every one of us bears some responsibility to make the world a better place. Instead of just sitting back and waiting for someone else to do something, we should all jump in and try something, no matter how seemingly small or insignificant. This year my family and I decided to not purchase any Christmas gifts for each other. We did, however purchase gifts for the 2 small children in the family. Instead, we pooled our money together and purchased food for the food bank at our church and purchased toys for needy children. On Christmas day, instead of ripping into gifts, we plan to read the story of Christmas together around the tree, and sing Christmas carols. I am praying that this will be a blessed time for us all, as well as the families that we may have helped. To those whom much is given, much is expected.

That is amazing! I wish some members of my family were less selfish like that, including me. I'd have a real hard time doing that and I applaud you for that awesome feat.

i think that people are going to develop a bad future because of the way the world is now, people are not getting on well with it. but unless they change it, we will have a much more better world! :D
