I'm sitting here with my 3 1/2 yr. old grandaughter singing her favorite Christmas songs with her. I have been so blessed,she has lived with me since the day she was born and I adore her. My random act of love I guess is my unwavering love and devotion to her. I can read the lyrics from this site to her. This is a good aid in teaching her who the baby Jesus is and about His birthday.
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.

I work with students in an old people homes, many left and abandoned by their families or have no families at all.

On our last day of duty before Christmas break our group of students prepared a wonderful Christmas party for them complete with decorations and singing of Christmas Carols and a sumptous lunch. We saw how they have enjoyed everything. From singing the carols with gusto to eating the food we have prepared. Our hearts are full of happiness as we spread happiness with the old folks....Jesus is lifted up in our midst.

A family of 5 at our church had their van break down so we are letting them use ours until theirs is repaired. It is an extra vehicle for us so we weren't using it.

1. packing up a violin for someone when they left to ask the front desk something
2. holding the restaurant door for my family and other people that i don't know
3. helping my mom empty out the dishes

I stopped at Sonic on my way home from Christmas shopping and ordered a quick snack. I was missing my mom who died just a little over a year ago. The waitress brought my food, I paid and told her to keep the change. She thanked me and said, "I almost have enough now." I asked what she meant, and she said if she got enough tips to pay for a tank of gas, she was going to drive to Louisiana to see her mom the next day. So I gave her $20. She got tears in her eyes and thanked me profusely. I explained to her that I missed my mom a lot, and I would certainly want to go and see her if she were still living.
