This is just a small act, but it is a little something I can do to be kind to others without it costing a lot of money (which I do not have at this time). I grocery shop at a store called Aldi. They are all about saving money, therefore, it costs $0.25 to "rent" a cart. You get your money back once you return the cart. This saves them "overhead." What I like to do is just give my cart to a "random" person without taking their quarter. 90% of the people usually insist on giving me a quarter, however, I just decline their offer, smile at them and tell them, "no thank you, have a nice day!." That is MY year long "Random Act of Kindness."

I work in the community, and it is so hard when you find adults who are homeless or even families that do not have enough money to put food on the table. During this time of the year, I see so many lonely children especially teens who are have parents and a home, but are lonely. This happens because parents are too busy working and paying the bills that they forget about the time they spend with their children. In my community, I have to work with teens. While talking to a group I noticed this one girl who was very loud and boisterous. she was new to the group and i noticed she wanted to fit in. Later on when I went home, I noticed she was my neighbor. To make a long story short, we started talking and became friends. I noticed her clothes did not always fit, her hair was not always kept neat and sometimes her clothes looked unclean. I decided to talk to the group in general about cleanliness not only on the outside but in the inside, too. I took a group of girls to Target and asked them to pick out something special for Christmas. I said $15.00 was the limit. They went off and each came back with a CD, jeans or a nice t-shirt. This girl came back with pajamas and slippers. After everyone went home, I found a note in my mailbox. Thank you, Mila for the gifts. This was my very first very own pajamas and slippers. I will never forget it. Merry Christmas. I will never forget it,too. It is truly the season of giving!

A few of us got together and went to a couple of Senior centers to sing Christmas Carols. At Emeritus which is a memory loss care facility there were about 10 seniors. You should had seen the faces on these beautifullpeople, some joined in singing others smiled and touched their nose when we sang Rudolph others tears were brought to their eyes. It was beautifull and our hearts were filled with joy to share the love of Christ with those who are less fortunate. We are from the Church of the Harvest. May Godd Bless all people and may the feeling of Christmas fill the hearts of all through out the year>>>>>>

I was leaving the drug store today when a gentleman in the next car called out that he couldn't walk but needed to get money holder cards. He asked me to buy them for him if he gave me the money. So I locked my truck back up and went over to his car and got his money and went back in to get his cards. I brought them back with his change and told him I had gottones with Santa on them and told him MERRY CHRISTMAS !
